Fields

Station Location
Geographical name of the station's location. The location of your station, which should include all the information elements requested. If possible, the information provided in this field should identify the precise location of your antenna structure. Use this link to view detailed information for the station on the ALS Authorized Fixed Station page.
Licence Status
Processing status of the licence, assigned by the system. Can be:
  • Pending: Not yet authorized.
  • Authorized individually: The licence application has been authorized individually, but the system with which it is associated has not yet been authorized in total.
  • Authorized, to be billed: The licence application has been authorized, but the billing has not been processed yet.
  • Authorized, future effective date: The licence application has been authorized, and the billing has been processed. However, since the effective date is more than two months in the future, the application is in a bring forward state for billing purposes until it is appropriate to issue an invoice.
  • Authorized, billed: The licence application has been authorized, and the billing has been processed. The invoice has yet to be paid.
  • Authorized, paid/held: The licence application has been authorized, and the invoice has been paid. However, the licence itself has not been printed as it is being held awaiting coordination.
  • Active: The licence application has been authorized, billed, paid, and issued.
  • Under reconsideration: This status is associated with an active licence for which an amendment has been submitted. It is still active, until the amendment is approved, at which time the amended licence will override this existing license.
  • Transferred: The licence has been transferred to another station.
  • Cancelled: The licence has been cancelled.
Licence Number
Licence number of a single licence for an authorized station.
Call Sign
Station call letters used for on-air station identification. Derived from our records for modified stations, or generated by the system when you save a new station.
Latitude (ddmmss)
Latitude North of the station's antenna or for a transportable station, latitude of the centre of area of operation.
Longitude (dddmmss)
Lontitude West of the station's antenna or for a transportable station, longitude of the centre of area of operation.
