Radiocommunication and Broadcasting Antenna Systems Attestation

Shows your answers to the attestation questions.

Industry Canada's new antenna siting and approval procedures entitled CPC-2-0-03 Radiocommunication and Broadcasting Antenna Systems, Issue 4 are now in effect. The key changes include clearer processes for public notification and consultation, and added community involvement.

It should be noted that many aspects of the existing process remain largely unchanged with the update, specifically procedures pertaining to: compliance with the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA); Health Canada's Safety Code 6 radio frequency exposure guidelines; and Transport Canada/NAV CANADA aeronautical safety responsibilities.

More information is available on Industry Canada's Spectrum Management and Telecommunications web site at www.ic.gc.ca/antenna.
